Five Fold Ministries International
Oceans Unite is under the leadership of Pastor Alex Pappas and the oversight of Pastor Harold Weitsz of Little Falls Christian Centre and Five Fold Ministries International in South Africa. This church has been birthed out of a vision from the Lord to see people encounter a living and loving God that wants to have an intimate relationship with us.
We want to know God as He truly is in every part Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We want to see people step into their purpose and their destiny. Here at Oceans we believe in not only preaching what Jesus said but also doing what He did through a demonstration of His power and love. Everyone is welcome regardless of where you come from or what your status is.
Our Story
Hi there! We are Pastors Alex and Naomi Pappas, two people who have a passion for Jesus. We believe God has placed us here at Oceans Unite Christian Centre (OUCC) to bring His fire to our City, State and Nation by teaching and demonstrating His love and power.
We are originally from South Africa and came to the United States to buy a business. After we sold the original business, we invested in two other business before Alex had an encounter with God on an airplane while he was traveling to Chicago. After that encounter, we began the process to fulfill the mandate that God had placed on our lives.
It has been one of the most amazing journeys we have ever been on, and God has opened every door in such a supernatural way, like only He can. When God has a mandate for your life, it does not matter where in the world you are, or where in the world you come from. He will open the doors and guide you every step of the way.
A Little Bit About Our Journey
One morning while praying, Alex had a vision where God showed him to plant a church in Vero Beach. God started confirming this vision over and over. On one occasion, a man walked up to him and said God has given you the keys to where you are going, and He has already prepared everything for you. Two days later, Alex walked into the old OUCC location in Downtown Vero Beach. Just as it was said, everything was prepared. Although it was an old storefront, inside everything was set up for a church. A stage, sound booth, and children rooms. It was absolutely incredible!
When we started OUCC, our first service had 12 people which included family members. Our first Good Friday service only had the staff and around 6 people in attendance. Since then, we have outgrown our old premises and miraculously moved into the Indian River Mall, next to Macy’s, with a current congregation of over 800 people. We have also added Oceans Café and Oceans Fit, and can’t wait to see everything God still has in store for us.
Our Deepest Desire
Our deepest desire is for people to not only know about Jesus, but to KNOW Him personally and discover what an amazing adventure life is with Him. We have seen people’s lives transformed, miracles take place, marriages restored and destinies discovered.
Hopefully we can meet you in person, over a delicious cup of coffee or tea, so that together we can impact our city, our state, and our nation. It is such an honor to work for the King! We are looking forward to meeting you!
